Moe’s House, under construction

An existing modest brick dwelling has been stripped back to its slab and internal masonry walls to be transformed into a practical, purpose built home for a sole occupant and her adored dog, Moe.

The significantly altered floor plan is compact and efficient, maximizing integrated storage that has been designed in detail to accommodate the clients active lifestyle.

The open plan living space opens out onto the Shoalhaven River to the south, with northern sunlight captured through two glazed light boxes popping up out of the otherwise discreet new roof. Externally, vertical Australian hardwood cladding provides a sleek new skin to the previously outdated and undistinctive home.
